W4 Reflection

Writing
This week I have been Writing a Charlotte's Web article. I think it was very hard but then it got easier as I went on sometimes I got stuck and stopped for a while.

                               

Charlotte’s Web article

One morning a stupid man named Lurvy found a web with the words some pig written in it, only one person knows if Charlotte wrote the words at that is fern. Fern is Wilbur’s best friend, Wilbur met Charlotte in Mr Zuckermans big red barn.   

Lurvy was the one who found the web, Charlotte was the one who made the web, Mr Zuckerman was the one who owned the barn, Wilbur was Charlotte’s good friend, Fern was Wilbur’s best friend.  

The web with words about Wilbur, the words, Some pig had actually stopped the Zuckerman’s from killing and eating Wilbur. Mr Zuckerman wanted to show of Wilbur to the public so he got Lurvy to build a big crate for Wilbur.   

Mr Zuckerman’s barn was quiet that morning when Charlotte made the new web that said terrific her new web would hopefully stop Mr Zuckerman from trying to kill Wilbur everybody in the barn thought it was amazing, We think                                   

Early in the morning 100 years ago Charlotte wove a web of words that said Some Pig no one knows if it was Charlotte’s web, only Wilbur and Fern know for sure and they say that it was Charlotte’s web no one else could have owned it and wrote the words.  

Numeracy
In maths we have been recording our selves with Screencastify. We have been working on some very hard questions like 28 x 5 = 140 and using rounding compensation multiplication and counting in 5s.








Reading
This week for reading I did retell the story we were reading a few books like Shark in the bath. My goal for next week is to retell the story instead of just sitting there doing nothing.

W2 T2 reflection

This week we're learning about time and spiders here is some of the work I've done.

Appearance

Spiders have eight legs and four eyes. Most spiders catch their prey with web made of silk which they make themselves, and some spiders catch their prey with nets like the net casting spider Deinopidae. Most spiders have a hard exoskeleton to protect themselves from predators.

Predators

Some spiders can inject venom into their prey to kill their prey and then they wrap them up with silk. A spider's web is covered in kind of sticky dew and whenever anything touches the silk it sticks. Not many spiders venom is powerful enough to paralyze a human, but most of the spiders just poison people to get away.

Prey

Most spiders favorite food is flies and other insects. Most tarantulas can shoot hairs off of their abdomen And if anything get any hairs in its eyes it'll be blinded and free for the tarantula to eat. Sometimes when a spider eats a big meal it will fall asleep for a while.


For literacy this week we did spider reports here is both of mine.

Q1.What is a Mascot?

A Mascot is used to represent a group of people or a team.

Often it’s an animal or some kind of soft toy,such as a teddy bear.

Some people even think that mascots bring good luck and help to achieve success.

Q2.Why did soldiers have mascots?

To represent the team. In the teams there are mascots

In war soldiers  need to have pigeons to send messages to doctors.Layken
