Goodbye to this year and hello too the next. This year was fun and most people would yay like me cause that means NO. MORE. SCHOOOOL!!!

Anyway my favorite piece of work for this year is my Passion Project about a reptile game and this work was hard as bedrock.

This week for problem solving I did a shopping slide. I found this activity hard because of the 4 confusing answers. I worked it out by using the opposite of the equation for example the opposite of the 10c inside  $1.10 is the 90c in $4.90.

This week for my follow up I made a drawing about a book called Missing Jack. I found this hard because of all the writing. I wrote this in my Infer and support with evidence group and I did it based on a real book when Jack the cat died.

This week for literacy I have been making spelling activities for my Word Work here is what I've been making:Adding My Words is every , vowel = 5 and every normal letter = 10 for example: Invent: 5 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 10 + 10 = 50.
I found this pretty easy because I did this in my maths as well.



I have also finished my Infer 1 here it is
I learnt that you infer by looking at what you can see and write what you think it is. I am in the Infer and support with evidence.

And my favorite literacy task this week is my Myths & Legends.
I learnt that some dinosaurs have myths about them and that it can be fun when you have to draw your creature

Mike, Peggy, and Nora's parents tried flying in a tiny plane from Europe too Australia and they got lost on a desert island in the middle of the pacific ocean while the 3 children get sent too they're mean Aunt & Uncle's house where they are forced too do all the house work but one day when Nora was crying Jack told the 3 about an island in the big lake near them so the next weekend the 4 went to the island for almost a whole year and near Christmas Jack went back too the Mainland too buy some presents for the other 3 but he overheard the shopkeeper and her assistant talking about the missing children's parents found and that was the big surprise for the 3 back at the island.

Big Day Out Reflection T3W7

Big Day Out
This week Thursday was NOT normal at all it was the Big Day Out! and we had so much fun. The activities were: The Movies, The New Recreation Center, And The Grey Mouth Aquatic Center.
Everything was awesome My favorite activities were Badminton & Cricket, Our team rocks.

Movies At the movies we watched Pete's Dragon that movie was pretty sad I almost cried along with Layken, Caleb, and Isaiah. This movie was amazing as well as sad. The Dragons name was Elliot out of a book that Pete had owned when his car first crashed when he was 4 years old and his parents died.
Recreation Center The Rec Center was awesome with all the games and activities. The games we played were: Badminton, Cricket, Soccer and Basketball. And all of them were awesome. 

Aquatic Center
At the aquatic we were straight into the Cold-pool ( or deepest pool in the whole building) and off the diving boards in the deep end Layken wasn't allowed so he went to the shallow end we didn't want to leave him alone so we went with him.

Here is my intro for my Household Machines.

A drone is a high tech robot that is powered by 4 propellers or rotors, some drones in war are used to disarm bombs like the B.D.R(Bomb Disposal Robot) that are too dangerous for a human to handle, these types of drone have crawler tracks. Heli drones are all different sizes and shapes some look like a helicopter and are almost big enough for a child to hang on too! Some more flying drones are quadcopters that usually have a camera on the front for filming, some quadcopters film documentaries along with a sub-drone that looks like a tiny submarine that could have been used to film sea creatures. Some drones are used in the army like the B.D.R there are other drones in war as well like a spy there are tiny drones that are used to spy on the enemy there were also drones that looked like a spider this type of drone was un-named and could cling to a wall with the magnetic pulses it sent into the wall.(This means it used magnets to climb) Some other drones are toys like the camcopter and a remote control helicopter.

Book Week reflection

Book week
This week was Book Week and it was amazing, we designed our door with some of the B.F.G and Charlie and the chocolate factory, we made a load of potions for our door as well like the B.F.G dreams we have Oompa loompa at our door happy too hand out some lollies as well it took a lot of work too get this all finished but we did it. 

 On Tuesday night we had P.J party and there were a lot of competitions and the winner got a free book I entered but won nothing the P.J party was amazing everyone brought a book too read and the teachers read the children some books while I read my own.

Wednesday was supposed too be Wacky Wednesday but it was called off for a funeral so it is now Wacky Thursday doesn't rhyme or sound nice so this year no Wacky Wednesday on every Wacky Wednesday the school and the teachers dress themselves wacky like putting 10 pairs of underwear on your head so simply it's the weirdest day of the year. 

Today is Book Character day and I came as Rogue from book 2 of spirit animals, my friends Caleb and Layken dressed up as well Caleb was a Storm trooper  and Layken was a Spy.

This year Olympics certainly has been a blast so far( I wonder who will win!!!)the NZ team has 5 medals so far but luck could change and we're just going too keep on earning more just like United States with  a total of 35 medals.
